Terms of Use
By using our platform, you agree to our Terms of Use, which are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and transparent experience for both therapists and support seekers.
Last updated: 1 June 2025
Welcome to InPsync. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by InPsync Pty Ltd ABN 79 679 563 056 (“InPsync”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Overview
InPsync is a digital platform designed to help individuals seeking mental health support (“Clients”) discover compatible, independently practicing mental health professionals (“Therapists”) based on shared traits such as communication style and personality compatibility. InPsync is not a health service provider and does not offer clinical advice or therapeutic services.
User Types
Client users
Clients are individuals using the Platform to explore therapist profiles and be matched based on compatibility factors. Clients acknowledge:
InPsync does not provide medical or psychological services.
InPsync does not verify the clinical efficacy, availability, or suitability of any therapist listed.
Matches are generated based on non-clinical compatibility indicators and should not be considered medical advice.
The final decision to contact, engage with, or undertake services with a therapist lies solely with the Client.
If you experience an issue or concern with a therapist listed on the Platform, please contact us at hello@inpsync.app. While we are not involved in the provision of therapeutic services, we may review concerns and, where appropriate, take action consistent with our therapist conduct policy.
Therapist users
Therapists are registered mental health professionals who choose to list their services on InPsync. Therapists agree and warrant:
They hold current, valid registration with an appropriate Australian professional body (e.g. AHPRA, ACA, PACFA).
They maintain valid professional indemnity insurance and comply with all legal, ethical, and professional obligations in their jurisdiction.
They are not employees, contractors, or agents of InPsync. All therapeutic services are provided independently.
They are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information included in their profile.
InPsync may request evidence of registration, insurance, and qualifications during onboarding or at any time while listed.
InPsync reserves the right to suspend or remove therapist profiles that do not meet these requirements.
InPsync reserves the right to investigate concerns raised about therapist conduct or profile accuracy. We may, at our sole discretion, remove or suspend a therapist’s profile if we believe there has been a breach of these Terms, breach of professional obligations, or behaviour that risks harm to users.
Therapists grant InPsync a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, adapt, and publish their profile content—including profile text, images, and videos—for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform. InPsync agrees to use therapist content in a way that maintains the therapist’s professional reputation and will not materially misrepresent or alter their statements.
Matching and Limitations
InPsync provides a compatibility-based matching system that surfaces potential therapist matches to Clients. We make no guarantees:
That a match will be accurate, effective, or lead to positive therapeutic outcomes.
That a therapist will be available, responsive, or willing to accept new clients.
That all information presented by therapists is accurate or current.
Therapist profiles may include a short biography and other information voluntarily provided by the therapist. InPsync does not verify the accuracy of all profile content and encourages Clients to independently verify any important information before commencing therapy.
No Medical or Emergency Services
InPsync does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Platform is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.
If you are in crisis or need immediate support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or contact emergency services on 000.
Fees and Access
Clients
Access to the Platform for Clients is currently free of charge.
Therapists
Therapists will be charged a monthly subscription fee to maintain a listing on the Platform. Subscription terms and pricing will be made available at the time of onboarding and may be updated with notice.
Note: During our beta phase, access to the Platform is provided to therapists free of charge, but this does not constitute a waiver of future payment obligations once the subscription model commences. Therapists will be notified at least 30 days in advance before any subscription fees are introduced or changed.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform—including the design, content, branding, matching algorithm, and software—are and remain the exclusive property of InPsync or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any part of the Platform for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
Platform Use
You agree to use the Platform lawfully, respectfully, and only for its intended purpose. Specifically, you must:
Only use the Platform to explore matches (Clients) or to offer accurate and lawful service information (Therapists).
Not post, upload, or transmit any content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful.
Not harass, threaten, abuse, or exploit other users of the Platform, whether Clients, Therapists, or representatives of InPsync.
Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, its security features, servers, or connected networks.
Not use any data mining, scraping, or similar data-gathering methods without our prior written consent.
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and accept responsibility for any activity under your account.
InPsync reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform—without notice—if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, behaved inappropriately, or violated any applicable law. We may also restrict access where user behaviour poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of others on the Platform.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
The Platform and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
InPsync does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or availability of therapist profiles or matching results.
InPsync is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, including interactions between Clients and Therapists.
We do not endorse or recommend any specific therapist, and listing on the Platform does not imply endorsement.
Privacy and Data
InPsync collects personal and sensitive information (such as your matching quiz responses) to help provide tailored therapist matches. This information is stored securely and used only for the purpose of improving your experience on the Platform. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties without your consent. You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal requirements.
For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.
