Therapy, InPsync.
I’m Ebony, the founder of InPsync. I’m a practising therapist with a deep belief that mental health care works best when the connection is right.
Throughout my career, working across different settings and with a wide range of clients, I kept seeing the same issue come up. People weren’t dropping out of therapy because they didn’t want help — they were dropping out because they couldn’t find a therapist they truly connected with.
The process often felt confusing, discouraging, and impersonal, leaving people questioning themselves rather than the system.
From the therapist side, this was incredibly frustrating. I saw how little care and detail went into matching people with the right clinician, despite how essential that match is to meaningful progress.
In 2024, I decided to change that.
InPsync aims to take the guesswork out of finding the right therapist, to help people find support that actually feels aligned, safe, and trustworthy, so they can stay engaged and get the most out of therapy.
